Ed tech conference emphasizes evolution of technology in the classroom

Miami, Fla. (April 23, 2024) - Emily Jordan, Connected Nation Vice President, Foundation & Education Initiatives, recently attended the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) 2024 “At Warp Speed” conference in Miami, Fla., to discuss the latest trends in ed tech.

CoSN, is the leading membership organization for K-12 education technology professionals. Its annual conference brings together leaders and stakeholders in the ed tech space from a national, state, and district level to share thought-leadership resources and offer community, best practices, and advocacy tools. Themes of this year’s conference sessions included AI innovation, sustainability, digital equity and incorporating the National Education Technology Plan.

“It was really inspiring to see sustainability as a topic at this year’s conference,” said Jordan. “Starting the conversation on how the education space keeps up with ever-changing technology is as important as the efforts to ensure equitable and universal adoption of tech in the classroom.”
