Biography

Brent Legg serves as Vice President of Government Affairs for Connected Nation.  Brent leads Connected Nation’s advocacy and public policy team in the development and execution of strategies and initiatives that lead to increased government support for better broadband connectivity and technology adoption across the United States.  Brent also leads the organization’s education-focused initiatives, programs, and services, including the development of strategies that help states and school districts maximize the impact of the federal E-rate Program on school connectivity.  

Brent previously served as the Vice President of Education Programs, and has also held the positions of Director of Partnership Development where he was responsible for the development and implementation of Connected Nation’s national partnership program and Director of State and Local Initiatives for Connected Nation where he provided strategic and operational leadership for state-by-state and national expansion efforts.  Brent holds a bachelor of arts in political science from Transylvania University.
