Connected Tennessee, an independent non-profit organization, works with a wide array of Tennessee entities to make the cost of technology expansion go down and the ease of doing business go up. Connected Tennessee will accelerate the availability and use of technology towards creating a better business environment, more effective community and economic development, improved healthcare, enhanced education and more efficient government.
Connect Ohio is a public-private partnership that partners with technology-minded businesses, government entities and universities to accelerate technology in the state and close the digital divide. Connect Ohio is a comprehensive initiative that will blanket Ohio with broadband Internet access and dramatically improve the use of related technology. The program is the result of a partnership between the State of Ohio and Connected Nation, a national non-profit organization that specializes in increasing technology access and literacy.
Connect West Virginia is a subsidiary of Connected Nation and operates as a non-profit in the state of West Virginia. Connect West Virginia’s initial mapping strategy involves a partnership with Verizon West Virginia. During the mapping process, Connect West Virginia will reach out to all broadband providers in the state to create detailed maps of broadband coverage in order to accurately pinpoint remaining gaps in broadband availability in West Virginia.
